Find the Gloombound Flame, unlock Thestus at Marrowkeep and switch Mortal Shell 2 between day and higher-reward night.
Find the Gloombound Flame
Travel directly south of Widow’s Overlook Beacon. The Flame rests on a stone pillar behind the Great Arbiter of Flesh miniboss location.
Unlock Thestus
Return to Marrowkeep, take the elevator to the roof and use the Gloombound Flame on the golden lantern beside the fire. This summons Thestus.
What night changes
Ask Thestus to switch between day and night. The launch guide reports stronger enemies, increased drops and hidden areas, including a Tarstone vendor; changing time costs no resources.
