Actives and talent trees
A named Shell combines a unique active with a talent tree. The source documents Tiel’s Lingering Shadow, Proxima’s Bio Sampler, Eredrim’s break tools, Gragu’s Staggering Blow, Smert’s Miracle, Sariel’s thorns and Lazlo’s Retribution.
Move points, not Glimpses
Shell points can be refunded and moved between unlocked Shells. Glimpses used to deepen a Shell do not refund, so they should not be treated as the same resource.
Use the Shellkeeper
Ability unlocks are handled at the Shellkeeper in Marrowkeep. Pickup routes remain separate from build advice so a late kit is not mistaken for an early recommendation.
